Notice on 2008 China Top Project International
Matching Conference & Forum on Investment Promotion Strategies under Global Financial Crisis
To the government of all provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, management board of high-tech zone and development zone, and relevant institutions:
In order to improve the investment promotion of top projects in all the provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, to discuss the investment promotion strategies under global financial crisis with the renowned experts of investment agencies and research institutes home and abroad, and to design the plan for the investment promotion work for 2009, 2008 China Top Project International Matching Conference & Forum on Investment Promotion Strategies under Global Financial Crisis, organized by China International Electronic Commerce Center and guided by Ministry of Commerce, is to be held in Beijing on December 7~8, 2008. Featured by professional packaging, top-level communication, specialized roadshow, and global coverage, this conference, with a brand-new and practical mode, is to provide all the provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions with an opportunity to conduct direct communication with the leaders of Ministry of Commerce, the top 100 companies in the world and in its respective industry, internationally privileged investment agencies, and other authoritative leaders so as to build a platform for the long-term strategic cooperation, to magnify the investment promotion effects and to enhance the international fame of the city where the project is located.
The top 500 companies, top 100 companies in their respective industry, the renowned investment agencies have been invited as cooperators or investors to attend the conference, which has selected software/electronics, transportation/logistics, pharmacy and chemical industry, new energy, precision agriculture, and automobiles. These industries, with distinct advantages in market strategies and technological manipulation can work as the engine for the local economic development, constitute the flagship for industrial clusters, promote industrial upgradation, fuel local economy and bring about substantial social benefits. Roadshows are to be arranged for 80 projects and direct negotiations are organized with the potential investors. Due to the limit on the number of projects, local governments or development zones can select and submit top projects to China International Electronic Commerce Center, Ministry of Commerce before November 15 for examination and approval. The conference secretariat will issue invitations for those approved projects, for which the packaging, translating & interpreting service and roadshow guidance are provided in line with international practices. 3 representatives for every project can attend the conference.
